There are no winners or losers in a Braver Angels debate; rather, the goal is to hear and understand those with opposing views. Join us at the Corvallis Museum for a friendly and intellectually engaging experience you won’t find anywhere else! Listen to speeches for or against the resolution—and then share your own, if you feel so moved.
The evening’s debate will focus on this statement: Resolved: 𝗞-𝟭𝟮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆.
Agree? Disagree? Join us on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Corvallis Museum – 411 SW 2nd Street in Corvallis to listen to the perspectives of others, and share your own. The event is free, but registration is required.
Please RSVP if you are interested in attending this free community event! Tickets are free, but donations help. Use promo code BRAVER during registration to get a free ticket. Donations support Braver Angels, 501(c)3.

Braver Angels is a citizens' organization uniting red and blue Americans in a working alliance to depolarize America. Braver Angels' mission is to bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic. We try to understand the other side's point of view on issues, even if we don't agree with it. We engage those we disagree with, looking for common ground and ways to work together. Our goal is not to change other people's views of issues, but to change their views of each other.
