Drawing on sources from over the past century, Larry Curtis will discuss changes in research of water pollution on the Willamette River. The lecture will cover pollution impacts, sources, and development of controls in highly charged political debates.

About the presenter

Larry Curtis is a researcher and Emeritus Professor at OSU, specializing in water quality, toxicology and fisheries, with extensive work in Oregon. Larry led a major water quality study on the Willamette River from 2002-2004 that received the 2005 OSU Oldfield/Jackman Team Award.
