A Post-Electric Play with director Sanaya Forbes. Washburn’s play uses the unlikely medium of the hit TV show The Simpsons to examine why telling stories is so important, how it brings us together, how it shapes our culture, and—in the end—how it makes us human.

Sanaya Forbes (she/her) holds BAs in both Theater and Cognitive Science from UC San Diego. She was a professional theater technician for a number of years but currently works as a corporate graphic designer so she has the time and money to do theatre for fun.
