Discovery Days are recurring free family days at the Benton County Museums!
Beavers are known as "nature's engineers" because they build dams that create ponds and other habitats for fish and other wildlife. The trapping of beavers and the sale of their pelts were a key part of Oregon's early economy, earning Oregon the nickname “the Beaver state.”
Benton County Historical Society takes photos and videos at programming and events to be used in future promotional content.
