SPEAKER: Ann Littlewood and Beth Parmenter
In association with the museum’s current exhibit, “Put a Bird on It! Finley, Feathers, and Fashion.” Bird Alliance of Oregon volunteers Ann Littlewood and Beth Parmenter will present “The Early Photography of William and Irene Finley and Herman Bohlman.” They will use vintage equipment to project images from the early 1900s on original glass lantern slides. These slides, many of them last seen perhaps 80 years ago, illustrate the evolution and effectiveness of the Finleys and Bohlman as Oregon’s outstanding ornithologists and conservationists. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see a presentation just as your great-grandparents’ would have in 1910.
