Unbecoming A Lady

SPEAKER: Therese Oneill

Thursday, January 16, 2025

Therese Oneill presents Unbecoming a Lady: a lecture at the Corvallis Museum.

An entertaining glimpse into the life of Lillian Gilbreth, the Mother from Cheaper by the Dozen, who also happened to be the mother of industrial psychology. Lillian figured out how listening to ladies could improve nearly everything. From the design of our current kitchens to how maxi-pads are packaged, Lillian changed the world in a thousand quiet ways that deserve to be remembered.
