The Benton County Historical Society proudly presents this year’s K–12 Student Art Show, inviting young artists from the Philomath School District and surrounding communities to explore the theme Freedom to Imagine, inspired by the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Rather than focusing on traditional symbols, students were encouraged to express resilience, freedom of thought, community, and the human experience through personal creativity and storytelling.
Teachers who wish to submit student artwork should contact exhibits@bentoncountymuseums.org
This standalone exhibition celebrates the voices and vision of local students. Select works may later be invited to join the Corvallis Museum’s companion exhibition, Strength, Struggle, Survival: A Community Response to 250 Years.
