UPDATE: We have secured a generous sponsorship from Linn-Benton-Lincoln Health Equity Alliance. We are still seeking four more sponsors at the $500 level to help with the costs of this special event.
Día de los Muertos is a celebration which honors loved ones who have died. Here at the Corvallis Museum, we are partnering with local non profits to celebrate the rich culture of our Hispanic and Latino community members! Current organizational partners include Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center, Casa Latinos Unidos, the Public Library, and The Arts Center. This event is free to the public; last year, we welcomed over 600 people to our first Dia de los Muertos celebration.
The money spent stays in the community: we source all of the authentic food and beverages from local Latino-owned restaurants.
